## Husker Radio Voice Greg Sharpe to Miss Nebraska-Illinois Game **Gameday Responsibilities to be Covered by Matt Coatney and Mike'l Severe** **LINCOLN, Neb.** - Longtime Husker Radio Network play-by-play announcer Greg Sharpe will miss the Nebraska football team's game at Illinois on Saturday, Oct. 8 due to a previously scheduled medical procedure. Matt Coatney, the network's primary sideline reporter, will serve as the play-by-play voice for the game, while Mike'l Severe, host of the Husker Sports Network pregame and postgame shows, will be the color commentator. Sharpe, who has been the voice of Husker football on the radio since 2005, is expected to return to the booth for Nebraska's next game at Purdue on Oct. 15. The Huskers and Fighting Illini are set to kick off at 3 p.m. CT on Saturday from Memorial Stadium in Champaign, Ill. The game will be televised on BTN and carried on the Husker Sports Network.
