Grammy-Winning Artists Seth Rogen and Billy Eichner Lend Their Voices

The highly anticipated prequel to The Lion King, titled Mufasa, has unveiled its first trailer, revealing its December 20, 2024 release date.

Directed by Barry Jenkins, known for his acclaimed works like Moonlight and If Beale Street Could Talk, Mufasa explores the origin story of the legendary king. The film will center around a young Mufasa as he navigates the responsibilities of leading the Pride Lands and protecting his family.

The trailer provides a glimpse into the film's captivating visuals and introduces the voice cast, including Aaron Pierre as Mufasa, Kelvin Harrison Jr. as Scar, and Seth Rogen and Billy Eichner as Timon and Pumbaa, respectively.
